Emery Walkers House 7 Hammersmith Terrace archive

Emery Walker’s House Archive

Emery Walker's House contained a wealth of documents including correspondence,
photographs, official documents, notes and other material.

These have now been gathered together and catalogued to become the ‘Papers of Sir Emery Walker, Engraver, Photographer, Printer, Typographer’. The cataloguing was carried out by our archivist and a team of volunteers as part of the Arts & Crafts Hammersmith project to restore the house and make its contents available to a wider public.

The archive has now been transferred to the Victoria and Albert Museum, and is part of their Archive of Art and Design. The archive is open to researchers, please contact the V&A Archive of Art and Design to make an appointment.
