7 Hammersmith Terrace will be open for pre-booked guided tours from April to September 2012. Bookings will be taken from early 2012.
- Three tours daily on Saturdays and at other times for pre-booked groups
- Tours last approximately one hour
- Tours are limited to eight people and cost £10 each (full time student concession only, £5).
Access
The ground floor of the house is accessible to small wheelchairs but there is a step to the front door and reception space is very limited. The upper two floors and the garden are accessible only by stairs. The nearby Black Lion pub will allow visitors to use its facilities. Currently it does not have an adapted toilet.
Photography
Unfortunately, for conservation reasons, photography is not allowed inside the house.
Shop & Refreshments
A selection of postcards, greetings cards, books and gifts can be purchased after the tour.
Refreshments are available at the nearby Black Lion pub, including afternoon teas. Special arrangements can be made in advance to cater for groups. For further details contact:

How to find us
By Underground
The house can be reached most easily from Stamford Brook Tube station. Turn right out of the station, down to St Peter’s Square and then through the Black Lion Lane underpass.
By Bus
Buses 27, 190, 267, 391, H91 to King Street; alight at Goldhawk Road.
By Car
There are a few metered parking spaces in Hammersmith Terrace and more in St Peter’s Square, see map.
